Platform-agnostic core
The Clinvela core is platform agnostic. It is not tied to a single vendor, cloud, operating system or electronic record, and is designed to integrate fully with the infrastructure your organisation already runs.
Fits your existing estate
Clinvela works alongside the clinical, administrative and identity systems you already have, rather than replacing them. Deployment can be cloud, on-premises or hybrid, assessed with your IT and digital health teams.
Compliance is built in
Data protection and AI obligations are designed into the platform from the outset, so compliance is a property of the system rather than an add-on negotiated late in a project.

Our system complies with the data protection, security and artificial-intelligence legislation that applies to clinical coordination in Ireland, the EU, the UK and the United States.
GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018
Clinvela complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, including the conditions for processing health-related data, data subject rights, minimisation, retention limits and breach notification.
UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
Clinvela complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 for UK deployments, including the requirements for processing special category health data.
HIPAA and HITECH (United States)
Clinvela complies with the HIPAA Privacy, Security and Breach Notification Rules and the HITECH provisions that apply to a platform in our role, and a Business Associate Agreement is available for covered-entity deployments.
Regional AI law, including the EU AI Act
Clinvela complies with the artificial-intelligence legislation that applies in the regions we operate, including the EU AI Act, the Irish statutory framework giving effect to it, and the UK's AI and data-protection provisions governing AI used in healthcare.
Cross-border and healthcare-sector law
Clinvela complies with the transfer, confidentiality and sector requirements that apply to clinical coordination, including EU and Irish rules on health data, the NIS2 cybersecurity framework, and the obligations carried by clinical safety and medical device regimes where a deployment falls within them.

Configuration and validation come first
Integration availability depends on configuration, permissions and validation with each organisation, and local system compatibility must be assessed. Clinvela is not a Microsoft partner or certified product, and no integration described here is yet live. Compliance obligations are confirmed with each customer through the processing agreement and, where relevant, a Business Associate Agreement.
